Lookout Steakhouse

The food was acceptable, it was the environment that made this restaurant worthwhile. The young waiter was an attentive, kind man and the patrons surrounding us fawned over our son--it made us comfortable and created a pleasant date. Also, the tables are covered in paper yet the place still feels fancy instead of cheap. This let DS doodle all over as we continued eating after he finished.

Tato-Nut

The coffee is absolutely the best feature of local favorite, Tato-Nut. Its 20% potato-flour donuts are a very close second. Unfortunately, the charm of its inner cafe is difficult to sustain because it is wildly popular and constantly crowded. Go for the coffee/donuts and plan for take-out rather than sit down.
